Luméa

It leans like it's listening. Beams of nature, standing tall amidst your city home, holding the light only to the people and conversations that surround it.

Inspired from corals, the floor lamp allows for a diffused warm ambience or patterned light through rattan, suiting the need of the hour. Bamboo is no more just furniture for craft, but an element deserving of admiration and capable of the spotlight, literally.

VISION

MAKING

PROCESS

EXPLORATION

Whilst using parts of the

material usually discarded (nodes) as terminations,

the making approach - low energy  and waste

conscious, resonates bamboo’s sustainable identity.

Reimagining bamboo beyond a craft material, capable of

modern aesthetic. Exploring its natural strength, hollow geometry, surface quality, to bring out all it has to offer as a lamp.
